General Manager - Quality Assurance (for H&M Buyer, Gazipur)

Job Description / ResponsibilityJob Context

• The positions is for 100% Knit Factory.
• This position should have experience of handling H&M buyer recently
• This position should know H&M procedure properly as the position will be seated in H&M based Knit Factory
• Only DGM & GM - QA with given experience are requested to apply

• Working with & Lead the H&M Quality Team
• Develop the quality standard and rules and regulations for achieving the quality of the garments.
• Full responsibility for quality function within the location through the entire manufacturing process including incoming, in process, finished goods inspection, and testing.
• Validates quality processes by establishing Product specifications and quality attributes.
• Determining operational and performance qualification.
• Maintains and improves product quality by: Monitoring product requirements, SOP, compliance and Technical support.
• Collaborating with other department of management to develop the product, SOP, and training methods.
• Conducts audits and monitor first article and first piece inspection and report.
• Develops and maintains quality assurance objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with the Production Department.
• Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
• Plans, promotes, and organizes training activities related to product quality and reliability.
• Output review against the sample. Follow up first output garment measurement report.
• Taking necessary action or inform the authority If any discrepancies happens.
• Need to finalize the critical operation, quality points and explain to Quality team.
• Inline inspection findings should be discussed with respective Production, IE & QA team to get the corrective actions.
• Report any deviation in QA system to the management.
• Any other assignment given by the top management.

Job Requirements

• Age 40 to 55 year(s)
• Must have experience in handling or working with H&M Buyer
• Experience in Knit Garments Manufacturing Processes & Quality, like Yarn Dyeing, Knitting, Dyeing and Finishing, Cutting, Sewing, Finishing etc.
• Strong leadership and team management skill.
• Should have knowledge of all aspect of quality control methods and practices including AQL levels and other prevailing international standards.
• Must have the ability to supervise and inspire team members.
• Good Communication skills in both English and Bengali;
• Good knowledge & skills in computing.
• Strong technical knowledge in quality system.
• Good leadership ability to lead & motivate the subordinates.
• Able to work under pressure and complete the task within a preset time-frame
• Good in planning and analytical skills
• Good inter-personal & communication skills
• Good team player, well-organized, initiative and detail-oriented
